We are pleased to announce that Group54 has officially launched and has hosted its two first guest speakers! A big thank you to Cheng Wan and Victor Busson for placing their trust in our vision.

We started Group54 because we believe the world is becoming harder to make sense of. More information, more noise, more confusion. Our response is to bring together small groups of people, alongside experienced voices from a variety of industries, for honest, discussion-based conversations on the issues shaping our world. Not to hand out answers, but to build sharper questions, more independent thinking, and more grounded perspectives.

Over our first two online conversations, we were fortunate to welcome:

Cheng Wan, Postdoctoral Researcher at ETH Zürich, who joined us to unpack ageing societies: what population ageing really means for pension systems, healthcare, labour, and family life in the decades ahead.

Victor Busson, CMO at Taurus SA, who took us beyond the headlines on blockchain: the fundamentals, and where tokenisation, decentralised finance, and institutional adoption of digital assets may be heading.

Two very different conversations, with a shared goal: help people navigate complexity with more confidence and clarity.

This is just the beginning, and we’re looking forward to welcoming more speakers and members as the group grows.
